I don't understand yet how your mail works. Can you please explain it some
more?

If two messages are coming in via different frontend servers and they both
want to write to /var/spool/mail/username, how is the locking handled?

If the user is reading his ~username/mail/INBOX in 2 windows logged on to
2 different frontend machines, how is the file locked for deletes?
