Yes I meant the service. ipvsadm showed the service was up as well as the real-servers. And apache was running on the real-servers (port 80), but when I would connect with a browser to the vip, I would get nothing. I was able to ping the vip. I never tried with telnet though. I was up for the last 36 hours, so it was time to call it quits. (this was 2 weekends ago)
