the script adds the VIP as an alias. If you're using iproute2 on your machine
it won't work. If you're using ifconfig/route then you should be OK.

Look at the output of 

$sh -x rc.lvs_dr  >foo.out 2>&1

and see what the instruction that fails, is trying to do.
