I am trying to build a load-balancing system for web service using lvs, which will be capable of handling a very high volume of visitors to the web sites. (Perhaps 80k per day, or more.) I am looking for recommendations regarding hardware (processor type? multi-processor? best NICs to use, how much ram, etc.), and I would like to know also how much power (minumum) is required for each primary/backup node, and their (individual) traffic handling capabilities. Thank you! Ramish |
