Hi everybody

I appreciated all the help and got my setup working.

It is very simple, I asigned my mailserver real IP to the external NIC and
routed port 25 to the mailserver(new network address) using NAT.

Thanks again

I would recommend a mail proxy setup such as Obtuse SMTPD (this is what I
use). The software is available at this URL and is free -
http://www.obtuse.com/smtpd.html.

This setup also shelters the rather evil and bloated exchange server from
external access. Additionally obtuse's smtpd supports _very_ nice & simple
controls to filter out spam using regex & wrapper-like functionality.

Please let me know if you want more details or help setting it up.

Peter
