1. redhat 9 kernel is not a topic of the mailing list. Please ask all redhat
9 kernel related questions directly from me - these questions are not IPVS
related.
2. i don't touch this - i just took the spec file from redhat, and added the
patches
3. if i remember correctly, nothing in the spec file does it - it just runs
some stuff after installing the kernel - the binary "grubby" comes to mind
This should be the last message to the list about the kernel i provided. i
will not respond to more of these, unless they are sent directly to me. i
believe that 99% of the users of the mailing list couldn't care less about
problems with redhat 9 kernel, and these who are interested, shouldn't flood
the list with questions unrelated to the main topic - for general questions
about redhat's kernel rpms there are redhat's lists on redhat.com, and the
rpm list on rpm.org (good luck getting elaborate, technical answers there)
and by the way, i really don't consider redhat 9 a viable server platform,
after seeing stock apache crush after a week on stock redhat 9 - i have
never seen apache crush before. i am still sticking with 7.3 ...
i apologize for all non lvs related traffic on the list in the last few days
caused by the RH 9 stuff. this email below was the last straw
Alex.
