OK, I'll tackle the problem below then you tell me what I haven't
addressed.
Problem: you want to set up an LVS behind a NAT modem. The outside
world comes in through a dynamically allocated IP that has a DNS name
www.foo.net. The dynamically allocated IP is always demasqueraded
(I think this is the right term) to 192.168.0.1 without changing
the port numbers. In the masquerading direction, packets leaving
from 192.168.0.1 emerge having src_addr = the dynamic IP.
Answer: You should be able to do this. You have an LVS with the
VIP=192.168.0.1
and the name www.foo.net. Make sure the machines all think they are serving
packets for www.foo.net
