I said nothing coz I got exactly the same thing as before.
the packets arrive at my director but no packets arrive at my real server.

my director and real servers are on different networks, thats why I use TUN. director and real server are on different countries, so i can only use LVS TUN.

same thing happens when I use telnet as client. no matter what port I use, i always get the same result.

i DO have forwarding enabled (/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forwarding file reads 1). on this same server, if I put 2 adsl lines with fixed ips and no NAT it does work fine. my problems start when I have NAT on the adsl modems.

what do you mean with "changing the forward method"? sorry, i didn't understand that.

Thanks,

Leni

P.S.: I'm sorry about any incovenience i don't want to waste your time at all and I don't think you should guess anything. I just tought i would be easy to understand what i mean. my fault sorry.
If you cannot wast time anymore helping on this question i will understand.

"nothing" conveys no information.
If you want me to take the time to type in a reply to you,
I expect you to go to the trouble to tell me what's happening
at your end rather than having me guessing and spending multiple
internations extracting if from you OK?

If by "nothing" you mean that packets
arrive at the director but none get to the realserver as you
said in your first post then

where is your client - on the internet or local? what happens with a local client?

what happens when you change the forwarding method?

what happens with telnet or netcat as a client?

Have you turned forwarding on in the director?

Joe
