| Subject: | Using LVS for MySQL traffic |

I just want to sanity check myself here before making any assumptions - there should be no reason I cannot use LVS to load balance MySQL connections, correct? (Obviously I know about data synchronization/etc/etc - that I can work on, I'm just wondering about getting "client" requests load balanced) Perhaps someone is already doing it and there's some gotchas - but it's standard TCP traffic with no odd port setup like FTP, so I don't see why not. Thanks, mike |
