Dear Julian & Horms,

True, but is there any harm in reinstating it in the mean time?

You just removed its timeout table in 2.6.16.

This patch hasn't been sent off. My other patch which did go in only removed dead code.

The real problem
is that timeouts are already per-protocol, i'm not sure it will compile
and work, one can try. On 5 Mar 2004 i sent you some ideas about

Yes, my patch breaks compilation, my apologies. Glad you and Horms got more functioning brain cells and didn't send this one off.

So, reading the code a bit more I realise that a basic infrastructure has been prepared by extending all ip_vs_* structs with int* timeout hooks. How do you want to solve passing such variable information via ipvsadm? I would really like to read your proposal on this granular timeout framework.

Thanks for your patience,
Roberto Nibali, ratz
