Oops, I got interrupted and haven't finished my Gentoo sentence...

Gentoo seems to come with a lot of different HA frameworks and packages. 
However, if you are used to Redhat it has it's own (very
different) package manager and the main philosophy seems to be "compile from 
source - everything and always"... That's the opposite
of what I want to get to...
