I gave it a try, using opensuse 12.1 64b, kernel is 3.1.0-1.2.

It seems there are slight changes, it is becoming better - a little bit.


  -> 192.168.1.1:7501          Masq    11     72         0
  -> 192.168.1.2:7501          Masq    11     62         0
  -> 192.168.1.3:7501          Masq    11     105         0

Before the change we had

  -> 192.168.1.1:7501          Masq    11     190         0
  -> 192.168.1.2:7501          Masq    11     30         0
  -> 192.168.1.3:7501          Masq    11     45         0

Any additional idea? Btw: the counts above are reproducable, somehow.
This means the peaks are still there, but less high. And the peaks are
not depending on the realserver behind...
