call RedHat, or look at the source code for the kernel.
Presumably someone on the mailing list knows.
The version of ipvsadm that comes with your distribution should match the ip_vs
kernel modules.
Your kernel version, 2.4.9 is almost prehistoric, at least
from the LVS point of view. If there are problems with it
on your hardware, we won't be fixing them. You should use a recent kernel.

yes. We can help you with this.
If there are problems (we don't have a 390 to test),
you will wind up being a guinea pig :-)
I believe SuSE may have tested LVS on a 390 (at least
they were looking to do so about 2yrs ago).
If you have problems with the RedHat setup, you'll have to go to them
or rely on someone on the mailing list that's figured it out.
