How about if you can't find something, you tell me where you expected it to be?
I can put in links or move it.

I will give you more feedback as I work through this setup of mine.

A couple of points of feedback so-far: the HOWTO points you to the Mini-HOWTO for installation. The link to the mini here[1] points back to that page, instead of the mini.

The Mini-HOWTO places (IMO) *way* too much emphasis on that configure script. I see now that the mini does show the commands that should be executed by hand, so that's good, and I'll be stress testing them. The configure script strikes me as a behemoth that's near impossible to troubleshoot (a perl script that generates a shell script?).

A final nit: I don't see any information about setting up NAT, in the LVS-NAT configuration, to allow the real-servers to make outbound connections to the external network. It is fairly simple to configure masquerading with iptables (easier with ipchains), but there's no discussion of needing to do this in the documentation (consequently, DNS fails on the real-servers) and there's no discussion of potential pitfalls when using iptables and LVS together.

I don't mean to bitch; these are just things that caught my eye a couple of weeks ago when I started looking into this; if I'm wrong, please correct me and accept my apologies...

Thanks,
B
