For security reasons you don't want realservers being able to contact machines
on the internet (incase they're hacked) and you don't want people from the
outside being able to connect to them directly

remember you have all that credit card information on these machines.
If you want to upgrade your realserver, you do planned maintenance,
you take it out of the LVS and then do whatever you need.
