None of your statements have any connection to LVS that I can see.
Want to try again?

Please look more closely.

I intend to start with separate physical machines - one for web server, one for mail server, one for FTP server, etcetera.

As the load grows, I will switch to multiple servers acting as one large server for each function.

Thus there will be an LVS for web service and another for mail service, etcetera.

I expect the load to grow due to the amount of logic that will be running. The anti-spam code alone is already huge and we intend to grow it further.

The use of LVS logic will allow the maintenance of high levels of security.

In fact, the LVS mechanisms can be used within a single machine to isolate users via CHROOT for DNS, WEB SITES and EMAIL!.

But I can't do it all in one big implementation - not enough money! This should be obvious from the fact that I'm starting with PPPoe!

So I have to build separate systems and add low-cost boxes - each to handle a user's requirements.

I also have a need for a couple of machines that are NOT LVS!!

I have to start SOMEWHERE!!!
