| Subject: | hidding loopback interface does not work properly |

Hello,
I am testing LVS on a Redhat 7.3 + kernel 2.4.19
I have patched the kernel with the patch "hidden-2.4.19pre5-1.diff"
I want the interface lo:0 does not answer broadcast ARP requests.
So I have configure my /etc/sysctl.conf with these 2 parameters :
net.ipv4.conf.all.hidden = 1
net.ipv4.conf.lo.hidden = 1
Then run the command "sysctl -p".
Now if I ping the ip address of lo:0 from another server on the same
network, I see the interface answers to the arp request.
Can someone tell if I have forgotten to configure something.
Thanks
Frédéric BUCHE
