and connections to 208.37.31.234 port 110 and 25 are being refused.
this means that there is nothing listening on those ports on the machine
that the packets are delivered on. Your LVS may not be sending the packets
where you think they are being sent.
We don't really know. It's the most possible thing, but it could be
o a packet filter rule
o service dest is unavailable
o service is not running on RS
o he's misspelling the IP address
o network cable unplugged :)
Also look at his ipvsadm output: there's a Route and a Local which indicates
that the director is a RS too. However he never mentioned this, so that's why I
asked.
