here is the scenario i am working on. none of my machines are on a domain,
i do not like putting my servers on the domain, they are all configured as
member servers, so there is no wins, no PDC. i have a set of 30 static ips
from my provider. what i want to do is assign one of these ips to my
director box on one NIC card, and then assign 192.168.0.1 on that same nic.
Then i want to take 4 of my win2k servers and put them behind the director,
assign the ips the 192.168.0 range, and load the websites on those boxes,
and have the clients connect to the director and filter through. so i am
just trying to find the configurations and everything that i need for now to
attempt that, i have the configure script, and i am attempting to build the
nat conf file, but i am confused.

and if i can get an understanding of how it works with the current kernel i
am on, then i will venture out and try to understand some of the updates.
for now if i can have the availability i will be ok, eventually i want to do
the least connection methods and such. actually i would like to do that
right from the start, but i am working on baby steps:)
