You have a lot of nerve there Keith. My issues regarding Red Hat are
directly related to your product and your insinuation at every possible
point that it's user incompetence and NOT a possible problem with Red
Hat's product is a direct insult. The insinuation that I have "personal
issues" is something I suggest you keep in check Kieth or Red hat will be
dealing with lawyers.
I've kept 90% of the exact technical problems we've had with your software
out of the general public eye except for the bugzilla entries which is
YOUR company's chosen way of logging bugs with the product. We have paid
outside consultants to come in and look at the situation. They identified
the same exact 3 points of failure in the software as we did WITHOUT being
told before hand what we thought they were. (Just so I could be sure I
WASN'T going crazy). I have the right to state what kind of experience
I've had with an open source piece of code. I have made no comments about
my work period with Red Hat, inc. and will not do so as it serves neither
side any good. I HAVE made comments on your company's products which were
made as a CUSTOMER who actually purchased the product, spoke at length
with your tech support on issues both BEFORE and AFTER the purchase.
Don't make this personal, Kieth. You won't like the outcome.
Trust me.
